Thirty years ago, I was a junior in high school in Savannah, GA. I had creative aspirations. Five years later, after struggling through college, economic survival, and romance, I enlisted in the Air Force. I gave up the creative aspirations. I lived in Germany for a total of eight years, and traveled extensively. I married a woman from Minnesota, had two children, retired from the Air Force, and divorced.

Fast forward to now.

I have been remarried for over 5 years, have a step-daughter, and am still raising the children from the first marriage. I am employed as a Security Administrator in an I.T. department in southern Minnesota.  Several years ago, I began writing poems as a way to remind employees to fill out and sign their timesheets. The pay system was eventually automated, but the poetry continued, and grew beyond limericks and jingles. I began to write for myself. You’ll see some of the old and the new writing on this site, as well as some of my favorite digital photos I have taken in the last five years.  The blog contains just about anything that comes to mind. And lately, that’s been just about anything.
