snow
thought, covered in trees
no leaves, sky
smeared in vapors, I
hear a train?
legs shiver, yet remain
lungs trees, walnut
breathes
eloquent maple sings
aubade for flames
light, steady grains
trees, white-gray
branches, hung by hair
ask wind for libation
bark peels in slow air
winds turn leaves of book
write hymns in snow
wind, cold enough for closing
slow
small ones sing, calling
me away, I call her
snow
